There are three LCJB subgroups which deliver the work on behalf of the board.

Domestic Abuse is a cross-cutting theme in all of our work, with time-limited groups focusing on specific issues such as a Domestic Abuse Retention Plan.

We want a system where victims feel fully supported by high-quality services that meet their individual needs, and where offenders have access to effective, rehabilitative services to support their desistance from criminal activity.
The criminal justice system is complex and involves a number of agencies, none of whom have sole responsibility for the whole system. Partnership working and collaboration is key, and it is the job of the LCJB to bring together agencies to improve the whole system.
